My favorite medium right now are watercolors and watercolor pencils. I was a big ink doodler for as long as I can remember and today I write, draw and color on my bullet planner/journal everyday. I am a big fan of filming my creative process and sharing it on social media I also have a class on Skillshare: Easy Handmade Greeting Card (Mixmedia: Watercolors + Ink)

Cute Kawaii Drawings

Here's my latest obsession: Cute Kawaii Drawings!!!These little adorable illustrations are a part of Japanese pop culture, their principal characteristic is the cuteness of course! The rounded simplify shape, childlike expression and positive character personality are hallmarks of one of the cutest forms of art there is. I love them! I bought this Kawaii Unicorns Drawings book for my 6 years old daughter, that loves to draw too, at the beginning of the Covid19 sanitary crisis on march 2020 here in France. And let me tell that it has been a huge source of inspiration for both of us!Please let me know if you find it useful! And if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to leave a comment!Emilia

Watercolor Monochromatic March Challenge

On March 2020 I participated on a Monochromatic Watercolor Challenge. This exercise was really fun and a cool practice to improve my watercolor's skills. The prompts of this exercise were week 1 mountains, week 2 forest, week 3 floral ans week 4 abstract. Here's my participation: A monochromatic coloring scheme is based on variations of one particular color. Depending on the amount of water and watercolor pigment applied on the paper, the different tints, tones and shades of a single hue appeared in front of my eyes like magic! The color I used: Mountains: Indigo Forest: Sap Green Floral: Carmine Abstract: Azo Yellow Medium On my Bullet Planner I decided to make a collage to frame and treasure this exercise. Bullet Journal: February 2020

Happy Valentine's Day! To color on my bullet journal I normally used watercolor pencils. The pencil strokes allow me to show texture while still providing a watercolor paint effect, the end result is almost magical. With so little effort I can cover a larger area of the paper more easily than typical colored pencils and I don't need that much water to activate the paint so i'ts easier to keep intact the integrity of the paper. . Have you ever painted with watercolor pencil? I want to know! Please let me know if you find it useful! And if you have any questions or suggestions feel free to leave a comment. Emilia

A New Year on my Bullet Planner!     Here's the month of January (Enero ) on my bullet journal! I made these layouts inspired on my daughter's birthday, she turned 6 this year and she loves mermaids. ??‍♀️ I painted all the illustrations on my planner with my watercolor pencils. What's your favorite way to add color to your bullet journal? Brush pens? Pencils? I want to know I made the collage page with the confettis I got from the confetti balloons we used to decorated her little birthday celebration. I loved creating this special memory for my family.
